Technical feasibility study for microwave link between two nodes of the Grid Morelos supercomputing network

A technical feasibility study for a microwave link between two nodes of the Grid Morelos supercomputing network was successfully carried out. This paper presents the technical aspects and the analysis of the same in order to give a technical opinion about the feasibility of the microwave link between two points, which in principle are close (23 km approximately), however due to the Orography of the State of Morelos there is a difference about xx meters in altitude. The analyzes were focused on the free line of sight between the two points: line of sight, height at which antennas will be installed, Fresnel zones and some antenna parameters. The microwave link is necessary to have a fixed and exclusive connection for the use of the Grid, avoiding the use of the internal network and the Internet outlet of both institutions.
