This article presents a code in the ATP software that allows simulating and reproducing the voltage of transitory signals, due to the connection of capacitors bank in a bus bar of a power substation of 85 kV. In a simple and brief way, it is shown how to calculate and represent the fundamental information of field for the modeling and simulation process in the software, in order to the reader executes simulations of the network without investing additional time in issues related to interpretation of user manuals.
